Since this was an out of state purchase, John’s expertise and professionalism was even more important to me. He was a champ from start to finish, from showing me the house with basically no notice on a Sunday morning, to handling the closing in my absence and meeting me with the keys and a host of local wines at the house. His excellent communication skills and prompt responses made doing the deal a breeze. I never had to wait longer than 10 minutes for a response to any question I had about the house. I continue to stay in touch with John and he’s just nice! I would highly recommend John to anyone looking for a home in the Bridgman area.

John Zelvis went above and beyond in helping us buy our first home. We looked at house after house and even returned to some of the ones that we already looked at. We were starting to feel like giving up and just renting but he kept pushing us along and we finally found the perfect one for us.

It was truly a pleasure working with. He was quick to start looking for us and sending us properties. He was knowledgeable when we asked questions and was also quick to respond. He made sure to contact us every week to keep in touch. We hired him on April 6th and put an offer in on a house May 6th. He did an amazing job to get our offer accepted and it was $25K less than asking. We couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. Everything went so smoothly we closed by May 23rd. John Zelvis made home buying a breeze! He helped me find exactly what I was looking for in my first home. He was so easy to work with and guided me through every step. He handled showings, negotiations, and paperwork making it easy for me to move through the process quickly. I felt like he was very honest and trustworthy and wanted me to be just as happy with my new home as I did. Overall, he made house buying fun for me!

He was very knowledgeable and friendly as patient. He was able to negotiate the price down, have the owners include the furniture with the purchase and get us a $500 credit for some needed repairs that came up after inspection. He followed up well but we are still need to see about those repairs. He did promise to get someone out after the closing for that.

Five stars really says it all. John made the sale and purchase of out new home comfortable. As with most transactions in the realty world there are going to be a few potholes in the road to moving. John fully explained all the ins and outs and kept the stress at a minimum. When we had a request ( some I'm sure were out of the norm) he was cool, calm and most importantly right there with the solutions. I would not hesitate to only use John for any future transactions; Thanks John we REALLY appreciate you and your friendship and skills.
